A freeform RPG framework for collaborative worldbuilding and shared narrative authority.
Archipelago gives every player ownership over an element of the shared world. Ritual phrases let anyone redirect the story, ask for more detail, or push another player toward trouble. First released in 2007 on the Norwegian Style blog, the second edition expanded the framework with new ritual phrases and clearer structure. One of the foundational Nordic RPG designs.
